Project Description

My portfolio website!
The original website was made for the graphic and web design program at John Abbott College and was meant to be shown to stage hosts to help introduce ourselves.
I re-used the website and changed the content for my Concordia application. I struggled a lot with importing my website and actually ended up copy pasting css in since my plugin wouldn’t work. Seems like this taught me perseverance and patience.

Process

I first came out a mood board of the energy and vibe I wanted my website to have. Next, I sketched out some wireframes. I started coding in WordPress and used a plugin called Classic Editor. This plugin is super helpful to me as it allows more customization than the drag and drop editor WordPress usually comes with.
When remaking the website for Concordia, I removed many pages and kept the layout simpler, so the main focus is on the projects. It also makes it easier to find all my portfolio pieces.
